Cleaning Tips for Quick 'N KleenTM

CARPET STAINS

CAUTION!!! Test area of padding/carpet before using. Inferior carpeting may be damaged.

FOR REMOVAL OF: Crayon, ketchup, barbeque sauce, permanent marker, shoe polish, motor oil, transmission fluid, fruit/vegetable juices & soda.

  1. Spray area generously
  2. Let stand for 5-10 minutes
  3. Spray again
  4. Use a clean cloth (let cloth absorb the stain)
  5. If necessary, repeat #2 & 3

FOR REMOVAL OF: Harder stains, such as tar & wax

  1. Spray area generously
  2. Let stand for 5-15 minutes
  3.  Use a a clean cloth to absorb and scrub area
  4. Let area dry completely and repeat steps #1, 2 & 3
  5. Use steam cleaner or extractor to pull the stain out

NOTE: In extreme cases the tar or other soil will penetrate the carpet and padding and get into the sub floor. As you extract the soil, it will come clean but as it dries, the stain will be removed.

LAUNDRY

CAUTION!!! Check small area of clothing for color fastness first, most dyes are colorfast.

FOR REMOVAL OF: Adhesives, gear lube, grease, hair dye, motor oil, shoe polish, spray paint, teflon & transmission fluid.

  1. Spray on area
  2. Scrub with stiff brush
  3. Soak in a 50:50 solution of product & water for 20 minutes
  4. If necessary, repeat steps #1 & 2
  5. Do not rinse product out of clothing - wash immediately
  6. Some of these stains may be removed with the spotting method

FOR REMOVAL OF: Crayon, eye liner, fruit/vegetable juices, make-up, soda & wine.

  1. Spray on area
  2. Scrub with stiff brush
  3. Do not rinse product out of clothing - wash immediately

FOR REMOVAL OF: Permanent markers, tar & wax.

  1. Spray generously on area
  2. Scrub with stiff brush
  3. Soak in a 50:50 solution of product & water for 30-60 minutes
  4. If necessary, repeat steps #2 & 3
  5. Do not rinse clothing - wash immediately

FOR REMOVAL OF: Set in stains on coveralls & other clothing

  1. Spray generously on area
  2. Scrub with stiff brush
  3. Soak in a 50:50 solution of product & water for 8-10 hours
  4. If necessary, repeat steps #1 & 2
  5. Do not rinse clothing - wash immediately

MOTOR VEHICLE CLEANING

CAUTION!!! Test small area to be cleaned first. Some inferior plastics may be harmed.

FOR REMOVAL OF: Grease, road grime, tar & most anything
Best results occur with engine & motorcycle hot or very warm

  1. Spray generously on area to be cleaned
  2. Let stand 5-10 minutes (you should see dirt, grease & oil running off)
  3. Scrub area as needed
  4. Use a ordinary garden hose with pressure nozzle

FLOOR STRIPPER

  1. Spray concentrated product directly on floor
  2. Use a damp mop to pick up old wax & dirt
  3. Rinse & apply new wax

GLASS CLEANER

  1. Dilute Quick 'N KleenTM at 2tsp to 20oz of water
  2. Shake it up
  3. Spray on dirty glass
  4. Wipe it off with a paper towel

GRAFFITI REMOVER

  1. Spray concentrated product directly on graffiti
  2. Scrub with poly brush or equivalent
  3. Repeat process if necessary
  4. Old set-in graffiti may take longer to remove

ENGINE DEGREASER

  1. Spray directly on engine
  2. Let stand for a few minutes
  3. Spray once again & hose off with pressure hose nozzle (same type used for hand use)

FLOOR CLEANER

  1. Mix Quick 'N KleenTM at 6-8oz. in a 2 gallon bucket
  2. Clean floor
  3. Rinse off

WOOD DECK CLEANER

  1. Spray Quick 'N KleenTM liberally over small area
  2. Do not spray too large of an area that you can't clean at one time
  3. Scrub with a stiff bristle broom or poly brush
  4. Rinse off
  5. Suggested cleaning area 3' x 5' at a time

GROUT & TILE 

  1. Spray on tile or grout
  2. Scrub off with a poly brush
  3. Rinse

MULTI-PURPOSE CLEANER

  1. Quick 'N KleenTM can be diluted as much as 80:1 (water to product) depending on the stain or cleaning application
  2. Your rate may vary
  3. A good place to start is 10:1 application and then dilute to the strength that you need

AUTOMOBILE WHITEWALLS

  1. Spray on product
  2. Use a poly brush to scrub
  3. Hose off when finished

CHROME

  1. Spray on
  2. Wipe off with soft cloth

CONCRETE

  1. Spray Quick 'N KleenTM directly on stains
  2. Scrub with a stiff bristle broom
  3. Rinse off

TOILET BOWL CLEANER

  1. Pour 2-4oz of Quick 'N KleenTM directly in bowl
  2. Scrub with a toilet brush
  3. Flush away

TREE SAP REMOVER

  1. Spray Quick 'N KleenTM on affected area
  2. Allow a few minutes to penetrate
  3. Scrub off with poly brush or a soft cloth, depending on how severe the build-up

WALLPAPER REMOVAL

  1. Score wallpaper with scoring tool
  2. Spray Quick 'N KleenTM on wallpaper
  3. Allow to penetrate for 10 minutes
  4. Quick 'N KleenTM will deteriorate glue, backing & paper will peel off
  5. May require additional spray

OVEN CLEANER

  1. Spray product directly on mess in oven
  2. Let stand for a few minutes
  3. Scrub with a scotch pad

PARTS WASH

  1. Fill parts washer with Quick 'N KleenTM
  2. Submerge parts and allow to soak
  3. Use a brush with flowing fluid to remove grease & dirt

STICKER REMOVER

  1. Spray on Quick 'N KleenTM
  2. Allow product to penetrate a few minutes
  3. Wipe clean with a scotch pad or cloth

TAR FROM AUTO PAINT FINISH

  1. Spray on product
  2. Allow to stand a few minutes
  3. Wipe off
  4. Repeat if necessary

AUTO WASH

  1. Use Quick 'N KleenTM at a 1:10 ratio with water
  2. Wash as usual

BATH & SHOWER

  1. Spray directly on dirty surfaces
  2. Scrub with a poly brush or scotch brite pad
  3. Rinse off

BOAT CLEANER

  1. Spray on fiberglass, engine & interior
  2. Scrub, if necessary
  3. Rinse off

CRAYON/PERMANENT MARKET REMOVER

  1. On painted walls, spray Quick 'N KleenTM on a soft damp cloth & gently wipe off
  2. Rinse off with a clean soft cloth
  3. CAUTION!!!! Do not leave Quick 'N KleenTM on wall as it may remove the paint after a short period of time

AS A LUBRICANT

  1. Simply spray on rusted bolts
  2. Let penetrate a few seconds & break free
  3. For a squeaky mechanisms & hinges - spray on & move part, door etc.

NOTE: Always try to spray on the metal as paint may be damaged by Quick 'N KleenTM & should be wiped immediately. Some paints such as modern clean coat paints on vehicles are not harmed by Quick 'N KleenTM
